Buyer FAQ
Buying from India, answered.
Straight answers for importers buying from Indian exporters — who you contract with, how quotes and Incoterms work, how quality is checked and how your goods are shipped.
Working with us
Who do I contract with — and who is responsible?
Entrevoverse Exports. We are the exporter of record: you sign one contract, pay one invoice and deal with one company that is accountable for quality, documents and delivery.
Will I know which factory makes my goods?
Supplier identities stay private — it is part of how we protect our network and their rates. What you get instead is our accountability: we answer for your order from enquiry to delivery.
What if my product is not in the catalogue?
Send the request anyway. The catalogue shows what buyers ask us for most often; we source well beyond it across our manufacturer network.
Quotes and prices
What do I need to send to get a quotation?
The product, quantity, specification, destination and timeline. Drawings, photos, standards or a sample specification help — and if anything is missing, we ask before sourcing starts.
How quickly will I hear back?
We review every request. If details are missing we ask before sourcing starts — usually the same working day — and your quotation follows once capacity, lead time and certifications are confirmed with verified manufacturers.
Do you publish prices?
No. Prices depend on quantity, specification, destination and trade terms, so every quotation is built for your request: one landed price from Entrevoverse Exports, with Incoterm, validity and terms.
Are your prices generated automatically?
No. Every quotation is built from real supplier costs, freight and documentation, and approved by a person on our team before you see it. Nothing about price, capacity or certification is ever invented by software.
Which trade terms can you quote on?
Whichever Incoterm suits your logistics: EXW, FCA, FAS, FOB, CFR, CIF, CPT, CIP, DAP, DPU, DDP. Tell us your preference in the request and we price on it.
Quality, documents and shipping
How is quality checked before shipping?
We follow production against your agreed specification and arrange pre-shipment inspection before anything is loaded. Deviations are resolved with the manufacturer while the goods are still in India, and you receive the inspection report.
Which export documents will I receive?
Each shipment travels with the documents it needs — typically the commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin, pre-shipment inspection report and bill of lading. Product certificates are confirmed per order and supplied with your shipment documents.
Which ports do you ship from?
We ship FCL and LCL from ten ports on both Indian coasts — from Mundra and Nhava Sheva to Chennai and Kolkata — choosing carriers and routings per order. The loading port is confirmed on your quotation.
Will I get updates while my order is in production and transit?
Yes. We share milestones until delivery, so you are never chasing factories across time zones.
